Kajal Agarwal is now the latest poster girl of tollywood. Directors and producers are calling her as lucky mascot. In 2007, she made her debut in Lakshmi kalyanam alongside to Kalyanram which didn’t fare well at box office. Later that year , she appeared in Chandamama, directed by Krishna vamsi which opened top to positive reviews and become her major success film. In 2008 her telugu releases Pourudu and Aatadista neither received positive reviews nor were succesfull at box office. In 2009 she appeared in Magadheera, directed by S.S.Rajamouli received universal critical acclaim. Her subsequent releases Darling, Brindaavanam, Mr.Perfect received unanimous critical acclaim. These movies performed well at box office and declared as block busters. And this year , she is making her debut in hindi version of Singam opposite to Ajay Devgan. She is also playing lead role opposite to Mahesh in Bussiness Man and Surya in Maatraan.
It is Krishnavamsi who gave a break to Kajal through Chandamama and she had no looking back and was proved to be lucky mascot for TFI. She was racing ahead at a time when there was tough competition among the heroines. Riding high on success with Darling, Brindaavanam, Mr.Perfect Kajal is number one heroine in Tollywood. She is being talked as next Soundarya, thanks to her roles. We are yet to see how her career shapes up in bollywood.
