Difference between Google and Wikipedia | Google is a search engine and Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia

Google and Wikipedia are the two words most of nettizens use while they are offline or online.  While Google is a search engine, Wikipedia provides any information the user wants.  Google search engine lists the websites related to the search word entered by the user.  Wikipedia can be referred as an online encyclopedia.

Users cannot access the information and images stored in the data base of Wikipedia using any other site or search engine.  But even when the Google site is down users can access the list of sites from any other popular or not so popular search engines.

While Google cannot control the content of the websites since the information is not present in its server, Wikipedia has total control over the content as it is scanned and edited by its editors.

Google and Wikipedia both provide information though in the form of links to the information and direct information respectively.
