Samsung Galaxy Z smartphone in Sweden

Samsung has unveiled a new smartphone in Sweden, called the Samsung Galaxy Z. The handset is likely the Samsung Galaxy S II but comes with downgraded specifications.

Galaxy Z is also heavier (135g instead of 116g) but thicker (9.45mm and 8.49mm) than Samsung Galaxy S II. The Samsung Galaxy Z smartphone has a metal back chassis (all plastic on the Galaxy S II).

New Samsung Galaxy Z phone packs a 4.2-inch Super Clear LCD touchscreen display with (WVGA) 800 x 480 pixels resolution (the S II is 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus) and a 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor (1.2GHz Exynos 4210 DC chip on the S II).

Running on Android 2.3 OS, Samsung Galaxy Z has 8GB internal memory, GPS, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, FM Radio, a rear-facing 5MP camera with 4x zoom, LED flash, and HD video recording, a front webcam, and a microSD card slot up to 32GB. The Galaxy Z smartphone is brings Bluetooth 3.0, a micro USB port, and a 1,650 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Z phone is available for pre-order at Three Sweden for priced at 3995 SEK (about €436 or $633) . But you also can choose a new 2-year contract, get it for free with priced at SEK 300 (about €33 or $48) monthly.
