LG announces World’s first Dual Core Smartphone, Tablet Tomorrow

Today at the very first day of CES, LG became the first company who made the smartphone with dual core processor called Optimus 2X’s. LG makes it available in North America and according to LG, it attained 25 percent of its revenues in the very first half of 2011.

Optimus 2X’s have world’s brightest Nova screen with 4 inch display which proves the LG’s Promise to their clients. Optimus 2X’s is launching with Android 2.2but LG committed to give updates of Gingerboard updates. The smartphone allows 8GB data storage internally and upto 32GB with external  SD card.

“Dual-core technology is the next leap forward in mobile technology so this is no small achievement to be the first to offer a smartphone utilizing this technology,” Jong-seok Park, CEO LG Electronics Mobile, said in a statement. “With unique features such as HDMI mirroring and exceptional graphics performance, the LG Optimus 2X is proof of LG’s commitment to high-end smartphones in 2011.”
